BISMARCK, ND 鈥 男人藏精阁 announced today that it has earned the 2023-2024 Military Friendly庐 School designation.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly庐 designation were evaluated using both the public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. Over 1,800 schools participated in the 2023-2024 survey with 530 earning the designation.

The 2023-2024 Military Friendly庐 Schools will be published in the May issue of G.I. Jobs magazine and can be found at .

The 男人藏精阁 has consistently earned this designation on the Military Friendly庐 Schools鈥 select list. Quality, cost, and customer service continue to be the pillars of the 男人藏精阁鈥檚 ongoing success and satisfaction with active serving military, veterans and their families.

鈥淲e have a whole department with over 50 years of military experience 鈥 including a military spouse 鈥 dedicated solely to our military students,鈥 said retired Brigadier General Dave Anderson, coordinator of Military Student Services at the 男人藏精阁. 鈥淲e understand all the needs, military guidelines and the dos and don鈥檛s to make sure all our military students get everything they are entitled to by walking them through the process, step by step. We want to make the enrollment process as easy and seamless as possible so the student and their military families can enjoy the educational process without worry or anxiety.鈥

Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by Viqtory with input from the Military Friendly庐 Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining the institution鈥檚 survey response set and government/agency public data sources, within a logic-based scoring assessment. We measure the institution鈥檚 ability to meet thresholds for student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence (degree advancement or transfer) and loan default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.

Several veterans with many years of military experience actually teach graduate courses at the 男人藏精阁. They served their country, then earned their doctorate degrees, and are now faculty. These instructors鈥 first-hand knowledge of the requirements and day-to-day demands of the actively serving military is vital to their success as students.

鈥淥ur graduate programs are basically free for those actively serving in all branches of the military, including the National Guard and Reserve,鈥 added Anderson. 鈥淭he 男人藏精阁 scholarships the difference the student receives from the military tuition assistance, so their education at UMary is tuition free. Military students have the option of taking their courses on-site, online, or a combination of the two in a blended format. Military students who choose to do on-site or the blended method receive more funding from the Veterans Administration (VA) benefit. Our undergraduate military students also receive a scholarship that pays up to $2,400 per semester.鈥

Active serving military, veterans and their families interested in enrolling at 男人藏精阁 can email Anderson at dbanderson@umary.edu, call (701) 355-8339, or visit www.umary.edu/military.
