Hello! I am Dr. Sonia Takacs, DNP, FNP-BC, founder and provider of SONTAK Family Clinic, PLLC and was born and raised in Mexico. I finished my first college degree in Mexico in 2004 and in 2010, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University, Health Science Center at El Paso, TX. In 2019 I received a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸ó, Bismarck, ND.
Why I’m At MaryMy spiritual and philosophical beliefs that guide my life and interactions with others, are centered on empathy, respect, and a genuine love for serving others. I strive to positively impact others’ through healthcare service, mentorship, and education. By joining the Nursing Department at the UMary, I hope to instill some of these attributes in the next generation of nursing professionals.
