˲ؾ Me

I have been adjunct faculty in the nursing division at the ˲ؾ since 2013. In my role, I participate in the thesis and capstone courses in the nurse educator program — giving me the opportunity to learn from the students and their varied projects. I was drawn to work at the ˲ؾ because of its rich Benedictine tradition. The tradition is lived out as everyone at Mary has always been welcoming and supportive.

Why I’m At Mary

I am at Mary because of the mission and vision of the nursing department. Having been a faculty member in both state and religious-affiliated universities, I know that the latter aligns better with my philosophy of living and learning.

Expertise

My clinical background is in adult critical care nursing, which I also taught in both didactic and hospital settings. For the past fifteen years, my work has focused on ethics in nursing. I have been and remain a member of several professional national and state ethics committees.
