ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸ó Me

My nursing career began in critical care (ICU and Flight Team), where I gained extraordinary experiences that expanded my ability to think critically, act swiftly (and accurately), express genuine compassion, and enjoy the fulfillment that accompanies offering care to others in need. As a nurse practitioner, I have been privileged to work with wonderful health professionals in the ER, urgent care, rural health, and women's health. I am also a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. My success is in large part because of the support of my family. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have been blessed with three children.

Why I’m At Mary

I am a Mary Nurse! I earned two degrees from ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸ó and continue to have such gratitude that my formative years in nursing were influenced by the incredible faculty and Benedictine values that permeate our campus experience. I am lucky that the ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸ó is now my work family and the mission continues to be ever-present.

Expertise

Maintaining quality curriculum and promoting relationships are my priorities and greatest contributions towards the work of translating nursing wisdom for students in a meaningful way. It is in this collaborative effort that we prepare for and with the health care industry a pipeline of workforce ready nurses grounded in the Benedictine spirit.
